Take into account the following points:

  • To set out for a walk, it is important to make a planning of the area you are going to cross, the round time, and the way to cover it.
  • You have to take into account the weather, the season of the year , in order to choose the right clothes and  footwear..
  • It is important to keep a rhythmic and constant rhythm..
  • The weight of your rucksack has to be reduced at minimum..
  • The breaks have to be short, no more than 5-10 minutes so as to avoid getting cold and muscle stiffening.
  • It is advisable to use a map of the area with camping zones, drinking fountains, paths and shelters, etc already marked on it.
  • You have to avoid unnecessary efforts, like jumping bushes or walking too quick, etc.
  • Don’t change your footwear nor loosen it until the end or your walk. It has to be as comfortable as possible.

Tuckland recommends its Multifunctional and Trail running series for a walk.
